This leads me to Q2. #Nups patch is corrupt install#OK, at this point, instead of a full restore, I did a System Restore which recovered and fixed the TS Lib however, the option to install the MS updates, inc the faulty KB2305420 has now gone from the update list so has it, or not, actually been installedĪnd running OK and if it has, is my TS lib safe? All worked fine until KB2305420 (the TS security patch!) and it all went wrong again. Did the update again (as I did not realise at this point the issue was caused my a Microsoft Update) and gotÄid a full restore once again and did a one-by-one, step-by-step install of each update, testing the TS each time at each stage. I restored a complete backup ((Paragon) and checked and the TS was OK. There so investigated the Task Scheduler and got the list of errors as above. After checking in MySQL Manager, the tasks were After installing the usual crop of updates, I noticed my MySQL backups had stopped. Experienced the same problem with Windows Vista Ultimate SP2. Yes, I can also confirm this is an issue. Thing makes me hope Microsoft will provide a better solution. But seeing that others have experienced the same We've only seen this on a small sample of servers so far in our testing. However, I am reluctant to consider this a 'fix', if it requires us to export and then recreate every task on the machine. Manually deleting the tasks, then importing them, The same errors occurred, and we were unable to import the previously exported tasks since they already existed in the registry
